She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Cecil and Beatrice Willard Armstrong; her husband Bernard P. Ward; her children, Abigail Elizabeth Reynolds and Michael Andrew Ward; and her siblings, Irma Regillo, Anita Nelson and Vance Armstrong.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Denise Ward of Westernport, MD; her grandchildren, Paul Christian Ward, Jon Michael Fjeldstad, Aaron Ward (Baylee) and Kathy Ward Cramer (John); and her sister Phillis Cunningham of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
