James Hayes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2024, at the age of 88, James Hayes of Mannington, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George O. Hayes and Lillie Efaw Hayes; his son Timothy; his siblings, Ethel M. Pounds and Joseph A. Hayes; and his son-in-law Todd Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Harold Hayes; his children, Renae J. Giffin, Kimberly S. Rice and David H. Hayes; his sister-in-law Nancy Barker; his brother George Ray Hayes (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Jessie, Amy, Jason, Jeremy B., Kasey D. and Timothy D.. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Masters Funeral Home (209 E Main St, Mannington, WV 26582). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
