He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerl Wetzel and Hazel Cross Wetzel; and his siblings, Betty Harding (Troy) and Bill Wetzel (Jeannette). He is survived by: his wife Jean Michael Wetzel; his children, Bob Wetzel (Sheree) of Morgantown and Sally Wicks (Keith) of Detroit, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Josh Wicks (Karyn) of Belleville, Courtney Wetzel of Brooklyn, Emily Rabe (Nathan) of Livonia, Kirby Fisher (Reed) of Glen Rock and Kaitryn Villano (Nick) of Tampa; his great grandchildren, Allison Wicks, Oliver Rabe, Grey Fisher and Axel Fisher; and also, Lora and Bill Michael.
