With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Ashley of Mannington, West Virginia, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Otis Batson and Delphia Mae Byard Batson; her husband Carl William Ashley; her daughter Connie Robinson; and her grandson Scottie Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Ashley (Joyce) of Fairmont, David Ashley (Judy) of Carolina and Janet Plachta (Mark) of Farmington. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider memorial contributions be made to WVU Medicine Children's.
