He is survived by: his wife Thelma Efaw Spurr; his children, Michael Spurr of Katy, Steve Spurr (Patricia Closson Spurr) of Monongah and Kris Spurr Dixon (Brian Dixon) of Katy; and his grandchildren, Justin Spurr, Trenton Spurr of Fairmont, Jessica Dixon Nichols (Carl Nichols) of Katy, Brandon Dixon (Kaylee Miller) of Katy, Carson Spurr and Kynlee Spurr of Monongah.
