With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Lee Elliott of Mannington, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lebanese and Joseph (Labibe Francis); her husband Samuel Nelson Elliott, Jr. (Sam); her son Samuel Nelson Elliott III; her siblings, Marie Cahill (Edward), Pauline Schloss (Pete), Joan Rich (James) and Philip Francis (Joanne); and her sister-in-law Mae Beth Francis (Hoover).
She is survived by: her daughters, Regina M. Elliott (John Conway) of Stamford, CT and Melissa Lewandowski (Norbert) of Riverside, CA; her daughter-in-law Leisha Elliott of Mannington, WV; her grandchildren, Danica (Stuart), Andrew, Ryan, Samuel, IV, Grant, Mary Elizabeth and Adam; her great grandchildren, Clara Elizabeth, Elliott and Everett; her brother Dr. William J. Francis (Arlene) of Leesburg, FL; her cousin Mary Ann Poshadel of Tampa; and her sisters-in-law, Phoebia Dickinson and Janice Elliott. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
