He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Fetty of Joetown and Martha Villers Gump of Mannington; his grandfather Daniel; his wife Sharon Lucas Fetty; his children, Katie Slater (Daniel), Crystal Bartlett (Rex) and Eddie Fetty Jr. (Beth Reel); his grandchildren, Amanda Slater, Aminda Webster (Vance), Serenity Reel, Patience Fetty, Jocelyn Bartlett, Justin Bartlett (Shalyn), Nathan Bartlett, Malachi Reel and Elijah Reel; and his half-siblings, Ron, Ed, Ward Lee, Mick Gump and Alice Gump of Mannington. He was also cherished by 8 great-grandchildren.
