She was predeceased by : her parents, Ora "Dutch" and Louise Gump Riggs; her siblings, Juanita Rinehart and Charles "Mose" Riggs; and her granddaughter Michelle Riggs.

She is survived by : her husband Harold Efaw; her daughter Kimberly A. Efaw; her granddaughter Mariah Sides; her son Chuck Riggs (Gladys); her sister Janet Fluharty; and her grandson Brandon Riggs (Sarah).
