We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2024, at the age of 86, Alberta Higgins of Mannington, West Virginia, born in Fairmont, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Denzil "Deacon" Cartright and Elsie Starkey Cartright; her husband Wilbert Harold "Luke" Higgins; her daughter Joyce Ann Wright; and her grandson Joshua Allan Higgins.
She is survived by: her children, William Harold "Bill" Higgins (Melissa) of Mannington, Rose Marie Sokolosky of Mannington, Daniel Wayne Higgins (Judy Leavitt) of Mannington and Sandra Kay Fluharty of Barrackville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
