He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Sr. Gibson and Freda Alene Gibson (Burton); his uncles, Willard Burton, Jr. and Farris Burton, Sr.; and his siblings, Carlos, Freddie, Ralph, Ronnie, Ricky Gibson, Lou Ellis and Sue Rankin.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Gibson; his children, Greg Gibson (Rachel) of Huntington and Katrina Gent (Neal) of Man; his grandchildren, Tia Castle (Corey), Austin Gent, Ashley Gibson and Blake Gibson; his great grandchildren, Annistyn and Chance Castle; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Gibson, Tammy Gibson and Rose Slack. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The family requests masks be worn at the services to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
