He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walker and Charlotte Bowens (Ball); his grandparents, Dorothy Ball Belcher, Bernard Ball, Craddie and Lewis Bowens; his siblings, John D. Bowens and Nioka White; and his great-niece Salenna Grimmett.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carolyn Meade (Butch Preston) and Jacqueline Collins; his brothers-in-law, Forest White and Garland Collins, Sr.; and his nieces and nephews, Teddy Browning (Nikki Davis), Titus Perry, Forest White, Jr. (Janie), Garland Collins (Rebecca), Marcus McCoy (Brittany), Jacqueline Grimmett (Allen), Charlotte Ward (Tommy), Rebecca Meade (Jimmy) and Ashley Hayes (Jeff). He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, great, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends.
