Mary Catherine Hughes-Bowman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Catherine Hughes-Bowman of Maidsville, West Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Snyder Holbert and Cecil Holbert; her former husband Ruel Duane Hughes; her husband Carl Bowman; and her son Jerry Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hughes (Deb), Cathy Cobb (Gale) and Chrissy Hughes; her grandchildren, Logan, Keith, Heather Giles (Ryan), Hannah Hughes, Elizabeth Cobb, Aubrie Cobb and Isabella Cobb; and her great grandchildren, Meckenna McMillen and Raylin Riggleman.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Care (108 Holland Ave, Westover, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
