He was predeceased by: his father Reul Duane Hughes; and his grandparents, Rual Oscar Hughes, Edna Hughes, Cecil Holbert and Evelyn Holbert.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Catherine Holbert-Hughes; his siblings, Tim Hughes (Deb), Cathy Cobb (Gale) and Chrissy Hughes; his nieces and nephews, Logan, Keith Cobb, Heather Giles (Ryan), Hannah Hughes, Elizabeth Cobb, Aubrie Cobb and Isabella Cobb; and his great-nieces, Meckenna McMillen and Raylin Riggleman.
