She was predeceased by: her parents, Chauncey Layman and Gertrude Meyerhoff Layman; her husband Johnny; her brother Virgil Layman; and her brothers-in-law, Edward Cox and Ernest 'Sonny Townsend.
She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Layman (Wilma) of Michigan, Chauncey Layman (Becky) of Morgantown, James Layman (Barb) of Maidsville, Annie Cox of Morgantown, Linda Townsend of Maidsville and Sandy Castelli (Charlie) of Maidsville; and her sister-in-law Gerri Layman of Morgantown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and treated them as her own children.
Face coverings will be required along with proper social distancing when attending the visitation and services.
