It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Leroy Allen of Maidsville, West Virginia, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Everett (Bob) and Macie Allen; and his siblings, Hershel Allen, Alden Allen, Herbert Allen, Guy Allen, Nina Burkhammer and Doris Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Peggy" Allen; his children, Robert Johnson (Vanessa), John Johnson and Tammi Adams (Dan); his grandchildren, Zachary Johnson (Megan), Robert Johnson, Jr. (Megan), Dyllan Johnson (Ashley), Skyler Johnson, John Johnson, Jr., Jimmy Johnson, Brittani Gatian (Josh), Corey Adams (Mallory) and Brooke Layton (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Delaney, Rhett, Carter, Miley, Lorelei, Freya and Bella.
