With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Marcum Jr. of Madison, West Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Marcum and Rosa Bell Marcum (Wiley); his wife Lucille Frances Marcum (Cooper); and his siblings, Maggie Maynard, Earnest Marcum and Richard Marcum.
He is survived by: his children, Cora Perry (Chester) of Madison Creek, Doris Jacobs (Ralph Copley) of Robinette, Michelle Marcum of Madison Creek and Samuel Marcum (Nikki) of Chapmanville; his siblings, Rose Nelson of Madison Creek and John Marcum of Whitman; and his grandchildren, Timothy Smith II (Kayla), Meagan Browning (Chris), Cathrine Perry, Chester Perry II, Crystal Marcum, Michael Spaulding (Jessica), Autumn Colegrove (Tony), Garrett Ryan, Samuel Marcum II, Lexi Marcum, Taylor Marcum and Jonah Marcum. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
