It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Spicer Patrick Welch (Madison, West Virginia), who passed away on February 25, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Welch and Gladys Welch; his wife Jane Welch; his son Spicer Patrick Welch Jr; and his siblings, Dewey, Harold, Junior, Lawrence and Hazel.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Kirby (Barry), Becky Hill (E. D.) and Steve Welch; his grandchildren, Brian Kirby (Evelyn), Christy Shaffer (Matt), Suzanne Walth (Chad), Mary Jane McNeely (Chris) and Erica Jane Welch; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Nicholas, Sarah Kirby, Abigail Jane, Ethan McNeely, Maggie Jane Holstein, Maddie Shaffer and Madeline Rae Walth; and also Janet Baldwin.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to The Hydrocephalus Foundation in honor of Pat's great-granddaughter, Madeline.
