He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Sr. Burgess; his siblings, Lou Walker, Janet Havaland, Ronald Walker, Roger Baldwin Sr. and Those; his daughter Amanda "Mandy" Burgess of Logan, WV; his granddaughter Lauren Adkins of Logan, WV; his sisters, Betty Castle of Greenview, WV and Alice Baldwin of Powell Creek, WV; and his brother-in-law Jack Havaland of Indiana.
