It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Onia Jane Howell of Madison, West Virginia, born in Bim, West Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Jewell Margaret; and her husband Harold H. "Sonny" Howell, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Dr. Harold H. "Kip" Howell (Deanna) of Madison; her siblings, Marilyn Miller of Charleston and Michael H. Dickens of Sebring, Florida; and her grandchildren, Harold "Harry" Howell of Clearwater and Meredith Kilgore (Jacob) of Huntington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Wildwood Garden Club, 20 Dogwood Lane, Madison, WV 25130 for the continued beautification of her town.
