With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther Burns of Madison, West Virginia, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Burns and Drusia B. Wallace Burns; his wife Emma F. Burns; and his siblings, Paul, Harold, James, Woodrow Burns and Norma J. Burns Cabell.
He is survived by: his children, Frances Hager (Danny) of Quinland, Eddie L. Burns (Opal) of Uneeda, Rocky Burns (Patricia) of Madison and Scotty D. Burns of Quinland; and his grandchildren, Shane Hager (Reneé) of Julian, Casey Hager (Kelly) of Sod, Misty Cook (Frankie) of Foster, Kristin Burns of Quinland, Rocky Burns (Carrie) of Prosperity, SC and Jennifer Ann Agosti of West Columbia, WV. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
