He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Green and Lillie Green; his brothers, Stevie Green of Danville, Bobby Green of Hernshaw, William Green of Danville, James Green of Danville, Charles Green of Madison and Albert Green of Florida; his daughter Tammy Green; and his stepson Kenny Cook.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Green; his children, Mendi Tomblin (Ray) of Clothier and Kelly Green of Chapmanville; his stepsons, Scotty Sanney (Erica) of Charleston and John Pauley of Parkersburg; his stepgrandchildren, Scotty Sanney (Kelsie) of Virginia, Shannon Sanney (Lindsey) of Virginia and Michael Sanney of Colorado; his grandchildren, Justin, Jeffrey Watson of Chapmanville, Billy Tolbert of North Carolina, Kayla Dent of Beckley, Brooklyn and Johnathan Tomblin of Wharton; and his siblings, Betty Donathen of Danville, Nettie Green of Danville, Stacie Caldwell of Madison and Lacy Green Jr. of Beckley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
