It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Ray McCoy of Madison, West Virginia, born in Man, West Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McCoy and Martha Elizabeth McCoy (Gillispie); his siblings, Dewey McCoy, Alvin McCoy, Richard McCoy, Virginia Sue McNeely and Carol Rose Burton; and his siblings-in-law, Diana McCoy, Jeannie McCoy, William Jennings Spears and William Earnest Shawver.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ricky McCoy of Holden, David McCoy of Holden, Paul McCoy (Linda) of Holden, Mary Elizabeth Workman of Omar and Alice Marie Shawver of Whitman; and his sister-in-law Brenda McCoy of Madison Creek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
