It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Duane Parsons of Macfarlan, West Virginia, born in Lockney, West Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Parsons and Geneva Harris Parsons; and his siblings, Hallie Minney, Lenora Miller, Pearl Parsons, Eddie Parsons, Harry E. "Jack" Parsons, Chester Parsons and Steven "Bub" Parsons.

He is survived by: his children, DeAnn Collins (Kevin) of Cox's Mills, WV and David Roberts (Jodi) of Cross Lanes, WV; his grandchildren, Katelyn Radabaugh and Kyle Collins; his great grandchild Kolsten Collins; his sisters, Madeline Duskey of Tanner, WV, Kay Peters (John) of Normantown, Greta Peters (Paul) of Normantown, Wanda Accord of Beckley, WV, Cora Kimes of New Haven, OH and Trish Kniceley of Arnoldsburg, WV; and his caregiver Linda Parsons of Macfarlan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
