It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Jane Rowe of MacArthur, West Virginia, born in Blue Jay, West Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oley Meador and Florence Reed Meador; her former husband William Grose; her husband Wenton Rowe; and her siblings, James Edward Se, Raymond "Bo", Robert Lee, Glenna Mitchem, Clarice "Cacky" Campbell and Norma J. McCallister.

She is survived by: her great-nephew Bobby Willis III. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
