Killian Rakes; his wife Janet Lane Rakes; his brothers, Dempsey Rakes, Tommy Rakes and Bobby Rakes; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Elizabeth Killian; his siblings-in-law, Hershel Perdue, Joann Bowman and Sharon Killian; his nieces, Penny Wright and Debra Ara; and his nephew Ronnie Suttles.
He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Rakes (Rhonda) of Beckley, WV, Donny Rakes of MacArthur, WV and Michael Rakes (Kim) of MacArthur, WV; his grandchildren, Derrick Rakes (Whitney) of Kitty Hawk, NC, John Rakes (Amanda) of Beckley, WV, Josh Rakes of Beckley, WV, Kaytlin Rakes (Shanice) of Oak Hill, WV and Noah Rakes of MacArthur, WV; his great grandchildren, Isabella Edwards, Cheyenne Rakes, Haley Rakes and Fallyn Rakes; his sisters, Scarlet Perdue of MacArthur, WV and Vicki Harvey (Carl) of Cool Ridge, WV; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Rakes of Beaver, WV, Pam Rakes of Shady Spring, WV and Betty Suttles of Asheville, NC.
