He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha England-Cook and Basil Cook of Mullens, WV.; and his brothers, Lewis, Jack and Richard Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Lura; his children, Eric Frye (Joetta) of St. Joseph, MO and Rhonda Frye-Rakes (Todd) of Elkin, NC; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Casey Frye of Missouri, Brionna Rakes-Marion (Hayden) of Elkin, NC, Dakota Rakes of Elkin, NC and Hunter Rakes of Elkin, NC; his great grandchildren, McKenna Frye of St. Joseph, MO and Connor Marion of Elkin, NC; and his sister Iris Manning (Jimmy) of Barkers Ridge, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Ron.
