He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hylton and Pearl Basham Hylton; his wife Rachel Hylton; and his siblings, Hershel, Herman, Virginia Mae, Clydia and Willie.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Bratcher (Rodney) of Daniels, Dennis Hylton (Estie) of Fitzpatrick, Patty Stella (Fred) of Barrington, IL and Evelyn Hutchens of Daniels; his stepchildren, Loretta, Russell, Hiram and Jay; and his siblings, Lewis Hylton (Martha) of Cool Ridge, Douglas Hylton (Norma) of Coal City, Junior Hylton of Beckley, Gracie Kidd of Beckley, Macie Bell and Bertha Blackwell of Shady Spring. He is also survived by three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
