He is survived by: his children, Edie L. Ellison (Steven) and Edward Derringer Jr. (Lisa); his grandchildren, Angel Metro, Hope Ellison, Erin Derringer and Christopher Derringer; and his siblings, Sherri Bolen (Larry), Druecella Wiley (Tim) and Randall Derringer (Melissa). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
