He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Smith and Elsie Mae Kerns Smith. He is survived by: his wife Christine Swanagin Smith; his children, Jack of Mabscott, WV, Billy Smith, Jr. of Idaho and Veronica Smith of North Carolina; and his siblings, Jack Smith of Florida and Sue Shumaker of Ohio. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1925 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
