He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Franklin and Nina Alta Shipman Skinner; his sisters, Mary Alice Ryan, Anna Louise Crutchfield and Edna Lorena Maxwell; his daughter-in-law Sherida Skinner; his nephew Mikie Ryan; his grandson Daniel Ray Arbogast; and his great grandchild Damien Ryan Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Edna June Chewning; his children, Charles Skinner, Jr. (Janice) of Thomas, WV, Orville "Bubby" Skinner of Mabie, Carol "Sissy" Gooden (Tim) of Buckhannon, WV, Delbert "Shotgun" Skinner (Kenya) of San Antonio, TX, Jerry Skinner (Jody) of Buckhannon, WV and Richard "Ricky" Skinner (Michelle Clark) of Washington, PA.; his grandchildren, CJ, Amanda, Cynthia, Jonathan, Samantha, Travis, Corri, Tony Ray, Kelly, Jimmie Lee, Jordan, Tyler, Eric, Alssia, Cheyanna, Britteny, Caleb, Cameron and Hannah; and his sister Virginia Dare Skinner Bennett of Mesa, AZ.
Masks and social distancing will be required for anyone attending the services for Mr. Skinner.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of Choice in memory of Charlie.
