He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Arnold Maynard and Louise Madge Maynard (Perry); his siblings-in-law, Paul Vanover, Raymond Bailey, Larry Carroll, Raymond Workman, David, Perry and Rhonda Maynard; and his great-nephew Jaxon Cole Cook.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norma Vanover of Lundale, Linda Carroll of Clayton, NC, Liz Johnson (Pete) of Stanley, NC, Elaine Bailey of Stanleytown, VA, Judy Ellis (Paul) of Glen Daniel, Lisa Moore (Tom) of Fairdale, Rev. Eddie Maynard (Sandra) of Clarksville, TN and Paul Maynard (Jennifer) of Hanover; his children, Donnie Maynard Jr. and Sabrina Maestas; and his friends, Mark Toler, Sherry and Jeff Vance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
