He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O'Neil Vance and Virginia Stellis Browning Vance; his daughter Tina Rochele Vance; and his sister Patricia Lee Vance Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Dickerson Vance of Lundale; his children, Gregory Allen Vance of Lundale and Lisa Michele Vance of Lundale; his grandchildren, Joshua Daniel Workman, Hannah Michelle Vance, Haven Rochele Riley and Lyla Caye Vance; his siblings, Kenneth Vance (Lora) and Lilly Toler (Del); and his aunt Ruth Tomblin (Harold) of Man.
