She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd John and Bertha Tempest Leggett Cottrill; her husband Stephen Floyd McCarty Sr.; and her daughter Brenda McCarty. She is survived by: her children, Robin McCarty and Stephen McCarty, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Johnny Workman and Jackie Hayhurst; her great grandchildren, Kaleigh Davenport and Colton Hayhurst; and her siblings, Alma Hayhurst, Mary Smith, Jack Cottrill and Carson Cottrill, Sr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
