The memory of Louie Belcastro of Lumberport, West Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Belcastro and Anita Belcastro (Bartolo) of Shinnston; his brothers, John, Jim, Joe and Dominick; and his niece Mary Evelyn.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Mildred Belcastro; his nieces and nephews, Tina Hanna, Anita Ballard, John Belcastro II, Joyce Miker, Joseph Belcastro, Chrissy Arco and Debra Benedetti; his great-nephew Eric Miker; and his godson Terry Shimp.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dorsey Funeral Home (701 S Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (610 Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery (1359 S Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431).
