He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Hursey Robinson; his grandparents, James and Eva Hursey; his stepfather Ed "Rabbit" Robinson; and his father-in-law Jake Starkey.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Starkey Hursey; his foster daughter Kathryn "Katie" Ware; his grandson Bradlee; his sisters, Cindy Bolyard McDaniels and Judy Robinson Riley (Rodney); and his mother-in-law Rosemary Starkey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
