With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Worthy Runyon of Lost Creek, West Virginia, born in Glenville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Worthy Daren Runyon and Bertha Brady Runyon; his daughter Susan Kay Runyon; and his grandson Joshua "Josh" Shane Runyon. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Kern Runyon; his sons, Rex J Kern (Harry Hakes) and Daniel Runyon (Heather); his grandson Jeremiah Runyon; his great grandchildren, Natalie Grace Runyon, Mackenleigh Jayde Runyon and Joshua Shane Runyon II; and his siblings, Bernice Keesucker, Jane Lew, Freda Swick of Geneva, OH and Denzel Runyon (Lou). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
