With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Runyon of Lost Creek, West Virginia, born in Bridgeport, West Virginia, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Alfred and Rosa Pearl Propst Kern; her husband Worthy "Darrell" Runyon; her daughter Susan Kay Runyon; and her grandson Joshua "Josh" Shane Runyon.
She is survived by: her sons, Rex J Kern (Harry Hakes) and Daniel Runyon (Heather); her grandson Jeremiah Runyon (Matt Emrick); her great grandchildren, Natalie Grace Runyon, Mackenleigh Jayde Runyon and Joshua Shane Runyon II; and her sisters, Sharon McKnight of Columbus, OH and Wilma Hickman of Clarksburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
