He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Robert Bode and Anna Royce Bode Fisher (Buchanon); his wife Sandra Rae Bode (Stoneking); his children, Kathy Ann Butcher (Randy) of Waterford, OH, Phyllis Annette Newlon (Brad Richards) of Clarksburg, WV, Andrew John Bode (Audra Sherman) of Lost Creek, WV and Cara Coe (Cole) of Homosassa, FL; his grandchildren, David, Donielle, Trey, Eric, Hayden and Porter; his great grandchildren, Landon, Braydon, Alex, Ava, Elliana, Dylan, Mallory, Gia, Drew, Mason and Talia; his sister Royce Ann Bode of Franklin, TN; and his half-brothers, Steve Bode, Gary Bode and Phillip Bode.

A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Weston Masonic Cemetery.
