He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Theodore and Mary Evelyn Jones Garrett; his wife Patricia Elizabeth Wade of Shinnston, WV; and his brother Russell Stephen Garrett of Fairmont, WV.. He is survived by: his children, Charles R. Garrett (Arreda) of Newton Falls, OH and Patricia Noel Henline (Denver) of Ridgway, PA; and his sister Sharon Martin (Jim) of Clarksburg, WV.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Assembly Church (316 Buckhannon Pike, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301).
