It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Ray Vanhorn of Lost Creek, West Virginia, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Vanhorn and Ina Summers Vanhorn; his father-in-law Dayton; his son Jeremy Ray Vanhorn; his siblings, Bernard Vanhorn, Glenna Harper Williams and Loretta McClain; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Bennett, Billy Bennett, Barry Bennett, Charles Kniceley, Judy Vanhorn, Betty Vanhorn and Mildred Vanhorn.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Dora Quinn Bennett; his wife Rebecca Bennett Vanhorn; his children, Andrea Ross (Charlie) of Jane Lew, Tiffany Blair (Lucas) of Lost Creek and Billy Allen (Lisa) of Lost Creek; his grandchildren, Sydney Ross (Chris Goad) of Morgantown, Josh Ross of Huntington, Camden Shaw of Lost Creek, Andrew Allen of Lost Creek, Kendal Blair of Lost Creek and Hailie Blair (Asan Ahmad) of Morgantown; his great grandchild Lailaa Kendal Ahmad of Morgantown; his siblings, John Vanhorn (Judy Russell) of Lost Creek, Emerson Vanhorn of Clarksburg, Debbie Kniceley of Lost Creek and Patty Smith (Jeff) of Lost Creek; his siblings-in-law, Bernard Bennett of Lost Creek and Jeannie McCormick (Tom) of Lost Creek; and his cousin Ernestine Roseborough of Uniontown, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
