She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Adrian and Mildred Smith Bailey; her husband George Dawson; and her brother Ruppert Bailey. She is survived by: her sons, George Dawson of Lost Creek and Gordon Dawson (Sandra) of Rockford; her grandchildren, Brenda Wagner (Gary), Audrey Croft (Greg), Amy Dawson, Carl Dawson (Santana), Melissa Dawson, Justin Talkington and Jonathon Talkington; her siblings, Willard Bailey and Betty Caynor (Bob); and her sister-in-law Jerry Bailey. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
