She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Alice Hartman Johnson; her daughter Tracey Lee Via; her siblings, Sharon Swinehart and William Swinehart; her grandmother Kathryn Hartman; and her former husband Rance Via.
She is survived by: her stepfather Edwin Johnson of Middletown; her daughter Lorie Lopez of Jurupa Valley, CA; her grandchildren, Jessica Ryder (James), Valerie Cerda, Brandon Cerda, Rosalinda Liotta (Michael), Alexandria Lopez, Amber Lopez, Noah Lopez, Anna Blair (Rick), Anthony Miller (Bre), Sarah Minnick-Diehl (Rusty), Kathryn Minnick, Megan Matin (Myron) and Nathan Minnick; and her sisters, Donna Etter (Craig) and Candace White (Troy). She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, the Carol's family have requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Association.
