She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Blackburn and Martha Blackburn (Maynard); her siblings, Albert, Adrian, Dike, Jesse, Willie, James, Gracie, Janie, Helen, Frances, Irene and Ocie; her spouse Lundy Woosley; her children, Rondle, Junior, Billy, Betty, Dorothy, Sharon, Geraldine, Rosemary and Shirley; and her great grandchild Gavin Arnett.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Lou Blackburn Curry (Claude "June Bug") of Lorado, WV, James "Jimmy" Canterbury of Morganton, NC and Daniel "Pat Boone" Canterbury; her grandchildren, Marlynda Arnett (Andrew) of Clarksburg, WV, Montana McCormick (Frank) of Man, WV, Blake Adkins (Marie) of Morganton, NC and Amy Jessica Canterbury of Morganton, NC.; her brother Willis-Ray Haws; her close friend Connie White (late Ed); her caregiver Ada Lowe; her pets, Tiny and Coalie; and her nephews, David Fleming and Rev. Luther Fletcher.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel Mounts Funeral Home (253 4th Ave, Gilbert, WV 25621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
