He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Dalton and Ella Mae Dalton; his son Herbert Thomas Hoosier; and his siblings, Edith Maynard, Dory Burgess, Shirley Gibson, Mary Ellen Grimmett, Arthur Ray Hoosier and Terry Kenneth Hoosier.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Hoosier-Endicott of Lorado and Claude Edward "Ed" Hoosier; his significant other Brandy of Lorado; his grandchildren, Gabrielle (Jordan Endicott) of Madison Creek, Janet Perry (Zack Donnally) of Kenova and Darian Tate Hoosier of Lorado; his great grandchild Richter Endicott of Madison Creek; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Iris and Theia Gwinn of Madison Creek; his siblings, Charlotte Gibson (Scotty), Janet Clark of New Haven, WV and Billy Paul Hoosier (Margie) of Stewart, VA; and his close friend Ernie Hoosier of Lorado.
