He is survived by: his wife Kitty Christene Dodrill Thaxton; his children, Michelle, Lisa, Ivy, Jayden and Hendrix; his grandchildren, Jessica [Josh] Armstead, Skylar [Laith] Alabbad, Clovie, Lawson and Holden; his great grandchild Conner; his sisters, Gloria [Carl] Malone of Tennessee and Roxie [Phil] Fiorello of West Virginia; and his nephews, Randall and Ryan Malone.
