He was predeceased by: his wife Charolette Akers Neace; his parents, Louisa Williamson Neace and Ora Brooksly Neace Sr.; his siblings, Ora Brooksly Neace Jr., Emma Jean Smith, Verdean Blevins, Darselene Neace and Bell Dora Hamilton; and his daughter Lisa Darby.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Hamlin (Scott Flinn) and William Darby (Debbie Darby); his siblings, Eunice Powell (James), Janet Louisa Maynard and Clyde Neace; his grandchildren, Sean Hamlin (Nancy Vance), Gracie Gartin (Ethan Gartin), Richard Darby (Brandie), Hailee Addair and Nathan Flinn; and his great grandchildren, Kinlee Hamlin, Marshall and Aria Bryant. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (200 Main St, Logan, WV 25601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
