With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Varney (Logan, West Virginia), who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Varney and Hattie Vickers Varney; his wife Anna Frances "Fran" Stephens Varney; his son Jeffrey Varney; and his sisters, Mabel Thomas, Lois Vance, Ruby Workman and Nellie Meade.
He is survived by: his son Brent Varney (Christy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Maples of Cedartown, GA and Gladys Gostovigh of Rageland, KY.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
