He was predeceased by: his parents, George Evans and Dollie Evans (Crum); and his siblings, Marilyn Baldwin (Evans) and Wilburn Evans (Mike Stepp). He is survived by: his wife Hazel Evans (Birtcher); his children, Roger Evans (Linda) of Holden, Sandra May (Sam) of Chapmanville and Stephanie Evans-Fields of Logan; his grandchildren, Steven May (Emily) of Logan, Shanda Spears Vance (Scott) of Chapmanville and Meagan Fields of Huntington; his great grandchildren, Juliya "Emmie" Spears, Tucker May Milton Vance Jr. and Aiden Smith; and his caregiver Brittany Ooten. He is also survived by cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
