He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Stone and Sadie Stone; his wife Gloria 'Sue Stone; his daughter Sherri Jasper; and his siblings, Nile Stone, Jeff Stone, Jim Stone, Champ Stone, JC Stone, Larry Stone, Bill Stone, Hollean Owens and Helen Collier.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Reid McCoy (Angie), Phillip Wayne McCoy (Beth) and Terry James Stone (Sheila); his grandchildren, Lindsey McCoy, Trent McCoy, Abigail McCoy, Ada McCoy, Travis Stone (Ashley), Ava Hu, Brandyn Stone (Lindsey), Sarah Baumgartner (Kevin), Colin Stone (Chelsea), Jessica Stone, Michael Jasper and Mathew Jasper (Jess); his great grandchildren, Yuki, Kora, Gwen, Cecilia and Autymn; and his siblings, Kent Stone and Marie Pell.
