He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tennis Hager and Lizzie Hager; his brothers, Johnnie Vannatter, Jimmy Hager and Paul Hager; his nephew Kyle Haynes; his son Samuel Wayne Hager (Candice Hager); his grandson Carter of Huntington, WV.; and his siblings, Bobby Hager Sr. (Vivian Hager), Danette Gore (Melvin), Yvonne Haynes and Donna Coppola (Sal Coppola).
